November 2011: a message from Hazel: "The benefits of Yoga are increasing flexibility and strength and becoming aware of posture. It can help reduce symptoms of asthma and a range of ailments from creaky joints, digestive issues and poor posture. The friendly Appleton class currently has some spaces, so do please come and join us. Six week block £48.00 Drop in £11.00 and you are welcome to try your first class at £8 to see if suits you, just give me a call to arrange."

Hazel Faithfull teaches Yoga classes of mixed ability, in the Hatha tradition, with a focus on breath and meditation. The key aim is to offer all students a meaningful and enjoyable lesson. There is no need to have done Yoga before. Students are guided to learn and work in poses safely, with adjustments given as needed according to their abilities and time needed to progress with their strengths & weaknesses.

Hazel offers classes tailored to different needs, developing more flexibility and mobility for creaky bodies; meditation for those under stress; or encouraging stretching and strength building. Further details about the class, Saturday workshops and holidays are on Hazel's website www.hazelfaithfull.co.uk

The class is 70% students from the village and most walk or cycle to the village hall. People from further afield are very welcome too, with ample carparking. If you wish to join the class please contact Hazel Faithfull - Mobile 07931 743 785 or email: oxford.yoga@yahoo.co.uk
