Consultations

Parish & Public Consultations
As part of the "Big Society", government and local councils are making increasing use of public consultation in order to inform their decision making.
This is your opportunity to make your opinions known and to contribute to the decisions made on your behalf. Some of the less obscure ones will appear in the sub-menus.
Get involved! Would you like to form a group that responds to public consultations? They may be for District or County Councils, Government or even for Appleton-with-Eaton. If you are interested, then please contact one of the website editors by hitting the "Contact Us" button at the top of the screen.
ELECTORAL REVIEW OF VALE OF WHITE HORSE - Consultation on council size
During the preliminary stage of the review, the Commission received one formal council submission advocating a council size of 38, a reduction of 13 from the current council size.
The Commission now seeks views on its proposal for a council size of 38 members for Vale of White Horse District Council during this period of public consultation.
The closing date for submissions on council size is 8 May 2012.
