About This Site

This website is owned and managed by the local community of Appleton with Eaton Parish, under the oversight of the Parish Council.

The initial phase of this website is designed to enable local groups to publish information for the local community and for the local community to find this information in one easy-to-use place.  Later phases will aim to add greater functionality, which may include:

  • email notifications for new content
  • discussions forums
  • commenting on pages
  • image gallery
  • genealogy section
  • history section
  • people section

If you have any suggestions on how to develop the site, or would like to volunteer to help, then please let the editors know through the contact form.  We are particularly looking for anyone with web-based graphic design skills.

Get involved

If you are involved with a group in the Parish and want to have a web page or advertise an event just Contact us and an editor will either input your item or train you to input material yourself!

Stay in touch

There is an email website alert system and if you want to know and be aware of new content and events that are happening in the parish Contact Us and tell us your email address. It will not be daily - might be about twice a month!
