Appleton Almshouse Vacancy

The Appleton Church Almshouses provide low cost housing within the centre of the village. They are intended primarily for people with a housing need and who are resident in the Parish of Appleton with Eaton. There is a vacancy at one of the Almshouses (41 Eaton Road). This accommodation is suitable for a single person, or possibly a couple, but is not suitable for family occupation.

The almshouses were renovated to a high standard in 2005, and this house includes modern facilities whilst retaining many features of interest. The accommodation includes a lounge, kitchen and toilet, shower and utility room on the ground floor, with a bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the first floor.

Applications are now invited for this vacancy. Applications must be made on an application form, which is available, together with details of the house and payments, from the address below.

Applicants will need to provide (on a confidential basis) certain personal information and financial details, and the names of two referees. Eligible applicants will be interviewed by the Trustees.
