Appleton Almshouses

The Appleton Church Almshouses provide low cost housing within the centre of the village. They are intended primarily for people with a housing need and who are resident in the Parish of Appleton with Eaton.

The accommodation does vary from house to house: the middle house, for example, is suitable for a single person, or possibly a couple, but is not suitable for family occupation. The almshouses were renovated to a high standard in 2005, and they include modern facilities whilst retaining many features of interest. The accommodation includes a lounge, kitchen and toilet/utility room on the ground floor, with a bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the first floor.
