Almshouse for rent

The Appleton Church Almshouses provide low cost housing within the centre of the village. They are intended primarily for people with a housing need in the Parish of Appleton with Eaton. There is currently a vacancy at No. 41 Eaton Road and applications are now invited.

The almshouses were renovated to a high standard in 2005, and this cottage includes modern facilities whilst retaining many features of interest. The accommodation includes a lounge, kitchen and large bathroom (with walk-in shower to cater for people with limited mobility) on the ground floor, and a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. It is suitable for a single person or a couple, but not for family occupation.
