The Appleton Show 2010
Appleton Village Show 2010
This is held at the beginning of September each year. Members and non-members exhibit in about 80 classes, including horticultural, photographic, cookery, handicrafts, flower arranging and children’s classes. The date of this year’s show is Sunday 5th September 2010 so put the date in your diary and be sure not to miss it! The classes for the Show are below.
APPLETON SHOW 2010 - CLASSES
| Class Number | Description |
| 1 | Collection of vegetables, two specimens each of any four different vegetables, at least three from those in classes 3 to 22 |
| 2 | Collection of vegetables, one specimen each of any four different vegetables, at least three from those in classes 3 to 22. Previous winners of the Novice Shield or Rowell Memorial Challenge Cup may not enter this class. |
| 3 | 6 tomatoes, any colour or size, but excluding beef or cherry |
| 4 | 10 cherry tomatoes, any colour |
| 5 | 4 onions, each weighing 8 oz/225g or less, set or seed grown |

| Class 58 - open to all exhibitors | |

Class 59 - open to all exhibitors who have not previously won either the Floral Art Trophy or the Mary Randall Rosebowl, but who may have won the Novice Cup. |

| Class 60 - open to all exhibitors who have not won a floral art trophy at the Appleton Show (the winner of this class will be awarded the Novice Cup). |

| Children’s classes are open to all children who are under 15 on 5th September 2010. Age will be taken into consideration by the judges. Because of this, all entries must be the sole work of the exhibitor, however young. | |
