Notice is hereby given that a Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday 13th September at 7.15 in the Village Hall.

AGENDA
1. Apologies for absence: To receive apologies for absence.
2. Declarations of Interest: In accordance with the Local Government Act 2000, s81 and the Parish Councils (Model code of Conduct) Order 2001, members are asked to declare any personal interest and the nature of that interest which they may have in any of the items under consideration at this meeting (Please refer to the notes at the end of agenda)
3. Public questions and statements: Time is available for the public to express a view or ask a question on relevant matters on the following agenda. The public are welcome to stay and observe the rest of the meeting. Members of the public wishing to speak should notify the Clerk in advance.
4. Election of Chairman: To elect a chairman for the remainder of the year.
5. Minutes of the last meeting: To authorise the signing of the minutes of the 5th July meeting as a true record.

11. Sportsfield Rubbish Collection: To consider with regard to the new waste collection arrangements
12. Proposed Tax Increase referendum: To make councillors aware of proposals to require parish referenda.
13. Road signage: To consider requests for road signs in Park Lane and Oaksmere and a road name sign for Millway Lane.
14. Accounts: Authorisation of payments made since the last meeting:

To accept a quote from OG Stonemasonry Contractors for cleaning the war memorial.

17. Date of the next meeting: To confirm that the next meeting of the Parish Council is to be held on Monday 4th October 2010 at 7.15 pm in the Village Hall.
Confidential Agenda The Chairman will move that the Public and Press be excluded from the meeting on the grounds that if they were present there would be disclosure to them of exempt information.
18. Appointment of new clerk: Arrangements for interviews Notes on Declaration of Interest:
(i) Any councillor arriving after the start of the meeting is asked to declare personal interests as necessary as soon as practicable after their arrival even if the item in question has been considered;
(ii) If a councillor has a prejudicial interest in a matter being discussed at the meeting they must declare this as soon as that interest becomes apparent to them. They should then leave the room, unless members of the public are allowed to make representations, give evidence or answer questions about the matter, by statutory right or otherwise. They must immediately leave the room once they have finished or when the meeting decides that they have finished (if that is earlier). They cannot remain in the room to observe the vote on the matter.
(iii) It is not practical to offer detailed advice during the meeting on whether or not a personal interest should be declared, or whether a personal interest should also be regarded as prejudicial.
