Message from Cllr Beth Fleming Chairman of the Vale of White Horse District Council

Chairman’s Community Awards Lunch – 30 October 2010

I will be hosting the Chairman’s Annual Community Awards Lunch on 30th October 2010 at the Guildhall, Abingdon. The theme for this year’s awards is ‘Caring for the Vale’ and I would be very grateful if you could complete the attached form** if you know of anyone that you feel should be recognised for their achievements in the local community.

**Please click on the link to view or download the file. Nomination form to your own computer

Nominations can be for anyone who lives within the Vale of any age that you feel is worthy of recognition for providing care within the local area. This could be someone who is part of a carers group or who cares for their families and friends, it could even be for someone who cares for their town or village community to make it a better place for its residents or visitors. Please feel free to nominate as many people as you wish. It would be great to have as wide a variety of award winners as possible.

I would be grateful if you could send completed Nomination Forms, by 24 September 2010, to:
