Bus Services
2010
There are two bus services through the parish and along the A420: -
Service 63 (Hinton Waldrist, Longworth, Southmoor, Appleton, Oxford)
Service 63 is a non-peak service currently Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. This service is operated by Whites Coaches. The drop off point is in Castle Street but the collection point is now in New Road, outside the Oxford Coroner's Court Bus Stop E4 and allows only time to load and move on!

Service 66 (Oxford to Swindon via A420 stops by Sandpit and opposite):

Service 66 is two early morning buses (6:54 & 7:57), a return bus from Oxford early evenings and late evening bus to Appleton which runs through the village.
Additionally there is an hourly Service 66 (from circa 0850hrs to 1800hrs) along the A420 from a bus stop outside the Tubney Sandpit towards Oxford and a bus stop by the footway through the dual carriageway on the Swindon side almost opposite the Sandpit. Drivers will still stop at The Ride when requested in advance and please be ready to alight quickly! This service is operated by Stagecoach.

Service 43 (Eaton - Appleton - Abingdon) operates on Thursdays by Grayline Coaches of Bicester.
It is an Oxfordshire County Council supported route. Return trip gives over 1 1/2 hours in Abingdon. It is a "Hail & Ride" service which means ... passengers can hail by waving frantically and the bus will come to a halt!

- Appleton Green at 10:02am
- Arriving in Abingdon at 10:45am.
- Returning from Abingdon Bath Street at 12:30pm taking a circuitous route arriving back in this parish at about 1:15pm!
