Please do join a team of people in the summer evenings for an hour or so, at 6.15pm every Thursday, meeting at Appleton Bridge into the woods. We are clearing Himalayan balsam and clearing bracken from around new plantings. Also tree pruning (encouraging straight, knot free timber), firewood splitting and stacking but also just enjoying the woods and planning future activities, such as bird surveys, training courses and fun events. So everyone is welcome, with no need to engage in vigorous exercise!
