Help for Heroes

Teresa and Richard Griffiths, daughter and son of villager Betty Griffiths and the late Jim Griffiths, are walking the Coast to Coast Walk in order to raise money for Help for Heroes. This famous coast to coast walk of over 190 miles will be attempted between 24th July and 6th August.

Help for Heroes is a particularly relevant charity for Teresa and Richard: Teresa is a Wing Commander in the RAF’s Nursing Service and just about to take up the post as the military matron at Selly Oak (where all the injured servicemen return to) and Richard spent his early years in the Royal Navy.
