OX13 Youth Club
OX13+ is Appleton’s own youth club for young people between the ages of 12 and 17 from the village and surrounding communities. We started in September 2004 following frequent requests from local kids for a place in the village to meet.
We now meet twice a month during term time, generally in the village hall, but sometimes up at the Sportsfield during the summer months for BBQ, footie and rounders.
All sorts of activities are on offer - pool and table tennis, music and films on a regular club night – and themed evenings which have included quiz nights, karaoke, graffiti night, drumming workshop, tennis and the legendary Xmas disco. All this for just £1.50 per session!
The youth club is entirely volunteer run, but everyone has been CRB checked and there’s always a first-aider on call. If you’re interested, please call Siobhan Davidson on 863504, or watch out for posters around the village.
