Meeting of the Parish Council to be held

on Tuesday 30th March 2010 at 7.15 in the Village Hall

AGENDA

1.    Public questions and statements: This is an opportunity for members of the public to address the council at the discretion of the chairman. There will be a 5 minute limit on each public statement. 

2.    Apologies for absence: To receive apologies for absence.

3.    Declarations of Interest: To receive declarations of interest from councillors relating to items to be considered at the meeting – in accordance with the Local Government Act 2000, s81 and the Parish Councils (Model code of Conduct)  Order 2001.

4.    Minutes of the last meeting: To authorise the signing of the minutes of the 1st March meeting as a true record.

5.    Matters arising from the 1st March meeting and not appearing elsewhere on the agenda:

1)  A420 bus stop 2) Village pond area 3) Condition of the green lane 4) Community Plan

5) War memorial 6) Maintenance, Eaton Road 7) School road safety.      

6.    Recreation committee: To resolve to form a Leisure and Recreation committee of the Parish Council and to adopt terms of reference.

7.    Flooding issues: To report on actions regarding Oaksmere and the Vale grant. 

8.    Northmoor Lock works: To report on meetings and actions to date and to resolve on future actions.

13. Date of the next meeting: To confirm that the next meeting of the Parish Council is to be held on Tuesday May 4th 2010 at 7.15 pm in the Village Hall.
