Meeting of the Parish Council to be held

AGENDA

1.   Public questions and statements: This is an opportunity for members of the public to address the council at the discretion of the chairman. There will be a 5 minute limit on each public statement. 

2.   Apologies for absence: To receive apologies for absence.

3.   New Councillor: Welcome to Mrs Liz Gilkes and signing of her Declaration of Acceptance of Office

4.   Declarations of Interest: To receive declarations of interest from councillors relating to items to be considered at the meeting – in accordance with the Local Government Act 2000, s81 and the Parish Councils (Model code of Conduct)  Order 2001.

5.   Election of vice-chairman: To elect a vice-chairman.

6.   Minutes of the last meeting: To authorise the signing of the minutes of the 1st February meeting as a true record.

7.   Matters arising from the 1st February meeting and not appearing elsewhere on the agenda:

1) Play area 2) A420 bus stop 3) Village pond area 4) Condition of the green lane 5) Broadband 6) Community Plan 7) War memorial 8) Maintenance, Eaton Road.

8.   Committees and working groups: To agree terms of reference for the Recreation Committee.

9.   Flooding issues To report on actions regarding Oakesmere and the Vale grant. 

10. School Road Safety: To report on the recent meeting at school and actions required of the council.
