Parking
Parking in Appleton
The combination of a small village centre and the modern reliance on the motor car has been the cause of considerable difficulty for several years.
A particular issue is the large number of parents' cars whilst collecting or depositing children at the school. The School, the Police and the Parish Council have been working together to make the best of our circumstances. Our efforts continue and the cooperation of considerate parkers is appreciated greatly.
The School has issued a map suggesting where parking ought to be avoided and where it would improve traffic flow and safety. The map may be seen below.
If you have any suggestions for improving the safety of children, residents and drivers in Appleton, then please make you views known to the Head Teacher or a member of the Parish Council.
