Pre School Daily Routine

Each day can be very different, but the timings below give you an idea of what the day involves.

11.15	Play session consisting of child-led and adult-led activities and key person groups, inside and outside – dependant on the weather		10.40	Play session consisting of child-led and adult-led activities and key person groups, inside and outside – dependant on the weather
11.45	Tidy up time		11.30	Rest time – after a full morning a chance to sit and be still before lunch. Children who are in for the morning go home.
11.50	Story / group time		11.50	Lunch time – we sit and eat together. There may be a short rest period after, depending on the needs of the children
12.00	Home time		12.30	Play session consisting of child-led and adult-led activities and key person groups, inside and outside – dependant on the weather
			1.40	Tidy up time
			1.50	Story / group time followed by hand washing ready for snack
			2.00	Snack time
			2.15	Play session consisting of child-led and adult-led activities and key person groups, inside and outside – dependant on the weather
			2.40	Tidy up time – we encourage the children to help us pack away the toys
			2.50 - 3.00	Story / group time followed by home time
