Seed to Tree Programme
Cumnor Hurst is working with Appleton Primary School on their Seed to Tree program, which incorporates planting seeds in their school and planting saplings within the woodland being created at Cumnor Hurst.
Its National Tree Planting Week at the end of November - and here is how you can join in:
Come and plant a tree or two, at Cumnor Hurst Community Woodland .....................(Behind Jaguar Garage, off Cumnor Hill) On Sunday November 28th between 2.00pm - 4.30pm we aim to plant a minimum of 100 trees.Ordnance Survey Map164 Ref SP477042. Post Code is OX2 9PH

Tools, guidance (and trees!) will be provided, as well as refreshments for those who have participated in planting.
Free car parking is provided next to the site.
Bring all the family, and tag your special tree - so you can find it when you visit again. Gardening gloves, recommended.
