Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 7:00pm

Saturday: 7:00am to 1:00pm

Sunday: 8:30am to mid-day

Post Office Hours are:

Monday: 9:00am to 1:00pm

Thursday: 9:00am to 1:00pm

 

Appleton Community Market

The shop has a stall at the monthly community market held in the Village Hall.  It is run four times a year on the second Sunday of each of the following months: October, December, January and May from 10.0am to 1.0pm.  The produce available is from local suppliers such as:

  • Seasonal vegetables from Hinton Waldrist.
  • Cheeses from Oxfordshire (Crudges from Kingham and Cotswold Dairies) and Berkshire (Two Hoots and Village Maid)
  • Homemade vegetable soup from Warwickshire
  • Cream and butter from Upper Norton Dairies at Church Hanborough
  • Appleton honey
  • Flour from Wantage mill
  • Rape seed oil from Stow-on-the-Wold
  • Pies, pâté, haslet and black pudding from Dews Meadow Farm, East Hanney
