APPLETON COMMUNITY SHOP

It was in November 1999 the then owners of the shop advised the Parish Council they were in trouble and it was not until the following year disclosed they had actucally put the cottage and shop up for sale. The Parish Council moved quickly, sought advice, formed a working group and by 1st May 2000 opened the Appleton Community Shop abd Post Office.
