UCARE: Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall!

Combine a great evening’s entertainment with friends or business associates by watching tennis stars at Royal Albert Hall and help to raise vital funds for UCARE: 30th November 2010

Viewers will probably recall the charity trek villager Adrian Carey completed earlier this year for UCARE (see the link Adrian Carey and UCARE Treck). The organisers of the AEGON Masters Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall in London have kindly agreed to allow UCARE to hold a fundraising evening at the event on Tuesday 30 November.

UCARE will have a maximum of 100 seats in the stalls allocated to us.

We will have a dedicated room in the Royal Albert Hall where our guests will have early admission from 6 p.m. They will enjoy a champagne reception with canapés and hot bowl food and complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks before making their way to their seats.

At least one of the tennis legends will join us to meet our guests prior to the tennis action which begins at 7.30 p.m. to run through the order of play.

The evening’s tennis will consist of two singles matches and a highly entertaining doubles match. The tennis legends already confirmed for the tournament include former Wimbledon Champions Pat Cash and Goran Ivanisevic, former US Open Champion and current AEGON Masters title holder Pat Rafter and our own Tim Henman who will make a return competitive tennis to play on the evening.

Tony, Tim's father is one of the UCARE trustees and will also be attending the evening.

The doubles event is more relaxed but still makes for compelling viewing, with wonderful displays from crowd favourites Mansour Bahrami, Henri Leconte, Peter McNamara and a host of other tennis legends.

Cost: £149 inc Vat per person
